Can my Dye DMC be Engraved?

I have a Dye DMC, its just a Dm5 with a half composite, half alumnium body. I would like the alumnium parts to be laser engraved later in the future. Just out of curiosity, should I be concerned at all about the composite part of the body? Is the engraving accurate enough to follow the odd shape alumnium pieces?

Engraving is only as accurate as the template and design that is made to fit that gun.

Masking can be done as well, if you had a repeating pattern.

And FYI Lasering/Etching can be done on Plastic polymers. My cousin has his Glock's Frame etched to look just like carbon fiber and it's perfect.
