Hey just got my gun back from dye. going to call them tomorrow just seeing if i could get some help here. Got it back from dye didnt mess with the hpr or lpr. put in the tank. turned on the asa, turned on the marker... nothing. it didnt shoot. turned my eyes off. didnt shoot.i put my ear to the marker i hear a leak from the top of the grip frame, i also hear the noid clicking not shooting though.

I take out the air turn off the marker, zero out both regs. while the marker is off and air is not in i turn out the hpr 3 turns and keep the lpr still zeroed. i put the air back in flip on the asa the bolt sticks forward. then i start to back out the lpr about 1 turn out the bolt goes back, so im thinking its going to work. around 1 and half turns out for the lpr i start to hear the leak again. the more i turn out the lpr the bigger the leak. so i zero out both regs and put the gun away.

i get home from playing and clean /relube the bolt. replace the boat sail oring, and try again. this time hpr 2.5 turns out lpr still zeroed. when i put air into the gun the bolt does not stick forward. i start turning out the lpr and the same thing happened. leaking around 1.5 turns out.

dwell was set at 22 the first time, i set it to 18 the second time. any input is appreciated thanks fellas


UPDATE:
got it back from dye they replaced the solenoid. still leaks. same situation happens. it leaks alot but still fires when i open up the lpr. the hpr was at 4 turns out, the lpr was around 2 turns out gun was fully cycling. gun was still cycling at 1 1/2 turns out, just has a bad leak. doesnt sound like from the lpr i do not mind sending it back to dye but would rather try to fix it myself. since i want to play with it this weekend

What was Dye doing with it? And did you change the battery?

Remove the Frame and air up again, now you can see where the gun is leaking.
If it leak from the small hole in the Body, you have to change the rings on your lpr, if it start to leaks after a few seconds you have to change your seat.

i personally would change that reg seat and check to see if the solenoid gasket is seated right and has some lube on it.

Going to get some air this weekend. Could the hyper 3,
Be to high? Its at 4 turns out. Which o rings should I try switching first? Any help is appreciated

I have a simple methode for this:
The Retainer have to be 1-2mm under flush (with the Body), works well with my DM12 & NT and i have allways something around 125-135psi.

Lets have a look
Relube both rings on the piston of the H3 (the small one in the Body and the big one on the piston).
Clean your LPR including Piston, LPR Body and the drilling of the LPR in the Body of your Marker. Relube it and replace the seat if it´s the same Seat shown on the pictures. Don´t forget to lube the shims gently

Long text, short answer:
rebuild LPR and HPR and replace your seats...
If this not work, you have to replace all rings that seperates the HPR from the LPR and also the outer rings on the can (and maybee Tophat).

If you got it back from DYE and its still leaking you should of sent it back. BUT... if you want to try and fix it yourself now, try the steps Idontknowmyusername stated in the previous post... also watch the video on YouTube that Mike Phillips posted of the DM9http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhJMrAvcpvY... if it was me i would just rebuild the whole marker at this point...

I adjusted the way like in mike s video that's when it started leaking so it has to be something im doing wrong.

I just re-read your entire post... have you re-built your LPR yet? To me it sounds like the noid gasket is not sealed correctly. Clean off the excess lube, add a little lube, air it up and try it see if the leak has been fixed. You are taking the correct steps but something around the noid is not correct. GL again and keep us posted.

Completely forgot to ask you if air is coming from one of the body plugs... If so remove it( de-gassed of course) and apply some thread sealant. Screw the plug back in and then air up your marker.

Check the LPR Shim stack.
I just bought a used DM9 that had the same symptoms you are describing.
There were bad orings on the LPR body and the shims were out to lunch.
