Here's my idea, but I don't know how to get it done. I want a clear Z2, mainly because it would look sick. If there was a way to make a mold of the stock shells and the back plate and pour in some clear plastic, maybe the internals would sit right.
1. No idea what materials to use.
2. No idea where to get the materials needed.
3. Transferring the internals to the clear shell (the internals are snug as it is, no room for error
I know I need a plastic that is going to set into a clear form, not a dust clear like some of the VL's or Revi's I've seen. Another concern is durability. I don't get shot in the hopper a lot, but it happens.
A grand total would be appreciated. If it's cheap enough, I'll update this thread and let the transformation unfold for all to see. I've always enjoyed the thought of a clear hopper. I don't want a Pinokio though. I thought about doing this to my rotor, but then I got a Z2 and fell in love with it.
