Cool Clear Empire Prophecy Z2?

Here's my idea, but I don't know how to get it done. I want a clear Z2, mainly because it would look sick. If there was a way to make a mold of the stock shells and the back plate and pour in some clear plastic, maybe the internals would sit right.
Problems/Concerns:
1. No idea what materials to use.
2. No idea where to get the materials needed.
3. Transferring the internals to the clear shell (the internals are snug as it is, no room for error )

Additional stuff:
I know I need a plastic that is going to set into a clear form, not a dust clear like some of the VL's or Revi's I've seen. Another concern is durability. I don't get shot in the hopper a lot, but it happens.

In Closing

A grand total would be appreciated. If it's cheap enough, I'll update this thread and let the transformation unfold for all to see. I've always enjoyed the thought of a clear hopper. I don't want a Pinokio though. I thought about doing this to my rotor, but then I got a Z2 and fell in love with it.

only thing i can think of is getting some one in china to do it for you for like 100 bucks, the only other thing i can think of would be vacume form which wouldnt work out all that well..

you could make a mold and pour in plastic but i dont how you would make a clear plastic work with out expensive machinery.

Yeah. I came up with an idea but I'm not sure it will work. I could use that plaster of Paris stuff that detectives use to make footprint copies. I could fill a tub with the plaster and put the shell down in it (I'll start with the front shell just to get my bearings.) Then I could break the mold and get the real shell out, then pour the plastic in, creating a duplicate shell (after trimming off the excess plastic of course.) If I can do it cheap, I'll sell them haha! Now, I'm not sure if the plaster will hold its shape well enough to make a duplicate shell. I'm also still unsure where to get the plastic.

Just to warn you, plaster of paris shrinks when it dries. I would like to know a cheap way to do this, it would be cool.

What do I use then? I certainly can't use plaster of Paris if it shrinks. Yeah I've wanted to do it for a while, just didn't have the know-how.

You could try putting windows in it. That would be quick easy, and cheap.

you use rtv silicone. Look up rtv silicon plastic molding.

You also need to find a clear casting resin. I would like to see them made from poly carb, but I'm afraid you are going to have to take what you can find. Which is mostly polyester and urethane.

if you plan to use these in the psp or nppl it would be illegal(they dont allow clear hoppers), just incase you do play tournament ball

I do play tourney ball, but not a lot in PSP, mainly local circuits. Why don't they allow them?

I would like to know why too, they don't really give any unfair advantage in my opinion.

The NPPL banned clear hoppers due to the possibility of eliminating a player who has paint broken on the inside of the clear hopper. Makes it a little easier for refs to call.

I do not believe the PSP has this restriction.

i played world cup in '08 and a teamate had a clear halo hopper, the refs told him its an illegal hopper to have since paintballs could look like a hit from far away and if a paint company was selling paint with a yellow shell he could be called out from a distance. luckily we had other hoppers as backups. just take a look at national tournaments and youll never see a clear hopper.

Try using a polishing wheel a low tolerance polish, you might be able to wax the color off.
