So I was going through my friends garage when I found a old school jt racing chest protector.
I want to buy it off his dad, mutilate it, and turn it into straps.
How do I do this?
Sorry if it doesn't make sense, I will get pictures the next time I see him.

Nice! cut out 2 pieces however long u want em. If you got any POS straps laying around, unweive them and cut off the tabs, sow them onto ur straps, make butterfly ends, weive back together.

Yea, just cut them to length and sew on the clips. The chest protector straps usually have bad elastic because of their age, so you should really consider double strapping.
