[Arctic Canadian]

Okay so my DM4 has a CP Rail on it plus a Dye UL ASA that I installed on it and I am wanting to know how I go about getting rid of the CP Rail and connecting the ASA directly to my Ultralite trigger frame. Can anyone give me advice or help me out and tell me what I need to do?

If you have the UL frame and it's got the original parts in it, just remove the rail, slide the asa on the frame and clamp it down with the hex key on the lower right side of the frame.

If it's missing the parts that lock the asa in place, you can run a set screw down through the front hole that you mounted your rail to and tighten it down from inside the frame.

No original screws and those that I have in the complete rebuild kit do not fit it... So yeah...

Take one of the three set screws from the side of the CP rail, thread it up into the frame through one of the two holes in the bottom used to mount the rail (hex side up) then use a hex key through the hole inside the frame (under the battery) to pull it up the rest of the way. Then slide the on/off onto the frame and tighten that set screw down from inside the frame to clamp the on/off in place.

Gotcha now the only question in follow up to that is will one screw be good enough to keep the on/off in place with the rigors of playing?

Yea, tighten it down snug and it will hold just fine. PMR frames and some others work the same way.

Don't He-Man tighten it though, because if you round out that set screw, the on/off becomes a permanent part of the frame.
