luxe 1.0 issue

So the gun shoots still but the gun is leaking air from the top of the grip frame/noid area. Any ideas on how to stop the leak?

Replacing all the orings is not usually a good idea unless you make sure they fit correctly. Many people just slap em on and think they are good. But that will usually cause more problems. Make sure the oring mentioned above is tight. It will be one of the back orings either on the can or the bolt guide. Probably not in the backlatch tho. Maybe you jacked your reg up too high causing the noid to vent

I hope you don't mean it's "leaking" from the frame/noid area with every shot...

Clean the Regulator.. Make sure to inspect the Reg seat located inside of the piston.. Mine would leak from that area your describing. I needed a new regulator seat , costs 1.99$ from punisherspaintball.com should fix you up proper..

The three main things that will cause a solenoid leak are.

1 - Reg pressure too high

2 - Bad 16/70 o-ring on the bolt

3 - Dirt or debris in the solenoid

Are you sure that the leak is coming from the solenoid? It could be the 8/90 seal between the body and frame or manifold o-rings.

im pretty sure, that where the leak sounds like its coming from and i really wish i knew why. I used it one tournament and then boom, instant bolt stick followed by the leak.

If you take the LUXE reg off and install any standard LP reg, you can test the gun with the frame off and that will make pinpointing the leak very easy. Once you know where it is coming from for sure, you can easily repair it.

Yeah I've had the same issue, swapped the reg and the leak went away. Did everything possible to clean the reg and still had the leak.

I really hate the luxe reg and always will... and some of the o-rings on the reg are so small they're almost impossible to replace properly. A new reg seat pin may be needed to fix the reg if nothing else works in my experiences.

What I love about my rev-i is the fact that the reg is so simple that it never has any issues that can't be fixed in under 30 seconds. I got my luxe and I really do love the ergonomics of it.. but I feel my rev-i is a more consistent marker and a much better bang for the buck.

This leak most likely has nothing to do with the reg unless you have turned the pressure up to high. The LUXE reg is a very simple design and all most never need maintenance or fails. Most of the time that a problem comes up with the reg, it is because some one has taken it apart and tried doing something that they shouldn't have with it. The 2 o-rings that are small and hard to replace are a 90 urethane and never need replaced.

Never seen a reg that never needs maintenance or never fails. But, I've seen many creep from lack of lube. I've seen a few that couldn't reach 300 fps because of a bad spring. I've seen the screen above the reg clogged with debris.

Cleaning and lubing the reg should be part of any standard maintenance schedule. I'd recommend every 30 cases or so.
