Good find... if the website is a legit company... that's a great price for the noid. And to answer your question, yes... that is the right SMC part number. See for yourself...



I'm actually quite surprised they're selling the noids for that cheap especially with that model being a proprietary model designed specifically for DYE.

did you buy that noid? i came across the same site.. and the model is not proprietary to dye.. They don't design there own noids.. they buy what works with there design

FALSE. SMC builds noids for companies based on their specs. They then allow only DYE to have "rights" to that type of noid. If you want to sell it, you'll have to get permission from DYE. SMC dealers are not allowed to sell these noid without authorization.

Do your research before sounding so sure about something... Especially when questioning a DYE tech like you did.

A few years ago, when I worked as a Quality Manager, I contacted my regional SMC rep. inquiring if he could get one. Once he ran the part number, he said the same thing in that it is a proprietary design manufactured for Dye. A couple weeks later, he gave me a couple free samples for "first article inspection purposes". lol.
