Well my mind has been blown

I used to own a V1 victory and recently purchased an almost new Geo2.1 (390 shots)

I then got an excellent trade opportunity and traded my V1 vic + a dye reflex autococker for a ripper victory which is also virtually brand new. I played today with the plan of playing a game or two with the ripper and then switching back to the Geo2.1 to continue breaking it in but i couldn't put the ripper down. It was perfection. I understand Geos have a break in period but i couldn't believe how much i preferred the victory over it. I know i shouldn't (popular opinion anyway) but the victory just felt perfect in my hands. Perhaps it's just because it was what i was used to? when i switched from the V1 to the Geo2.1 i was sure i liked the geo better but now back to the ripper and i fell back in love with the victory.

Just thought i'd share my exciting revelation

Just wait until the Vic gets broken in - nothing better.

bob long victories are the best guns out there imo, i have shot every marker out there in the market (including the geo 3...) and still nothing has shot better. probably why i still have 4 of them, and sold both of my csl's and other guns as well.

I've shot multiple geos and hated the way all of them felt in my hands as well as the way that they shot. I love the way all Marqs feel and shoot, although in my experience the gen1's seemed to be more smooth.

the feel of a closer or rapper in your hands is great. with a supercharged engine, it's basically a victory.

really.. well damn now i may just quit trying to sell my supercharged marq7. I know it's a little heaver than the closer and rapper, but not by much.

They're pretty good on weight. Just the closer, and rapper have hole just above the HPR. So when wrapping your hands around it, the thumb sits in their like a glove.

Question, I got some scratches on the bolt of my T-rex Vic. Is that part of the breaking in process??
