Yeah, he's definitely not a playmaker. He's not the first receiver since Moss to have multiple 50+ yard touchdowns at age 22.

Not only that, but just contributing in some way to a national championship would be cool as hell, even if it was just on special teams or on the 3rd string.

Yeah I know, even being a bench player for that would be better than playing at PSU.

braylon once received for almost 1300 yards and 16 tds in a season. Wholio will never approach that.

I would rather greyshirt than be within 500 miles of PSU's football field.

Also, the guys calling Ingram a bust are retards. His RB success rate was 56% in his rookie year, which is 3rd best in the NFL, behind only DeMarco Murray and Pierre Thomas, who had a very effective season in New Orleans. Before he got injured, Ingram was leading the league in 3rd down conversions. After he got hurt, the Saints running game suffered because Ingram excels at getting the tough yards.

Ingram's probably not a running back like Trent in that he's not a freakish playmaker that you can shape your offense around, but Ingram is one of the best there is at grinding out those few important yards, which is really what you need from a running back in today's NFL.

9-3 last year and we don't play bama this year and have a better and very motivated team.

Probs get screwed by refs like the last couple of games last yr tho. The big10 can't afford for us to win.

For those of you who are new to this, the Running Back Success Rate is a measure of how "successful" each of a running back's rushing attempts are. A "successful" run is one that :

Gains at least 40% of the yardage needed to move the chains on 1st down
Gains at least 60% of the yardage needed to move the chains on 2nd down
Gains at least 100% of the yardage needed to move the chains on 3rd and 4th down

I always forget that most people just play fantasy football so they only care about a couple stats. That gets into my whole thing about fantasy football killing the sport, but that's for another discussion.

A player with lower DVOA and a high success rate generally gets the yards needed, but doesn't often get more.
