Hello guys! I am looking into making my own ghillie suit V.I.A buying a kit and using a BDU top in order to make it! Basically, I am going to ghillie the back ONLY, So I was wondering what kind of tactical equipment I can use in order to be a proper assault man! I wont be sniping (Making a ghillie suit is more for the fun of it). I am going to be using either an AEG, or a 3 round burst shotgun! Since I cant use a chest rig because I will have the strands to make a ghillie suit, what tactical equipment could I use?
Why can't you use a chest rig? If you don't want un-ghillie'd straps showing just throw some strands on it to cover it up. You'll need a light rig on your chest so you can reload without it getting in the way. Either a chest rig or some sort of battle belt/H-harness set up.

All chest rigs would seem to push down on the straps! I dont have a clue what to do!
Still, a chest harness would only have 2 straps going across the back that aren't camouflaged unless you tucked them under the fabric to hide them. Look into a battle belt too, it might serve you better but it'll hold a few less mags.
