The planet Earth has been peaceful for years. In the last great battle, the empires of the United Asia joined forces with the Ekron Corporation to defeat the United North Americas. By taking complete control of the Internet and all communications systems, Ekron has been able to keep the peace; controlling what can be seen, heard, and read. Since the beginning of time, the victors have written the histories. The people of the United North Americas were defeated and now must become a part of the Ekron empire. To be a part of that empire, they had to shed all parts of the previous life. All knowledge, books, media, traditions, and even the UNA language were destroyed and replaced with Ekron knowledge. Those who refused were re-educated; some did not survive the re-education process. The Thought Police keep the citizens of Ekron thoughts pure.

Ekron became the most powerful corporation on Earth by completely controlling the harvesting and refinement of fossil fuels and forcing the world to only use fossil fuels. The known reserves will soon be depleted and the world will fall into chaos. Being the masters of all knowledge, the Thought Police have been searching through the old archives. They have even been combing through the few archives they kept from the defeated United North America empire. It has been generations since anyone in the Ekron empire could read or speak the UNA language. The Thought Police have recruited some of the re-educated UNA to help decipher the archives. Ekron though all would be lost, until the research team consisting of Ekron and re-educated UNA scientist discover two promising entries in ancient UNA archive. Desperate to keep the Ekron empire from falling into chaos, the Thought Police immediately sent out explorers consisting of Ekron scientist, Thought Police and re-educated UNA scientist to the two locations. The first discovery exceeded the Ekron explorer’s wildest dreams. It was an untapped source of fossil fuels that UNA empire kept hidden away for centuries. The Ekron scientist estimate that it could sustain the Ekron empire for at least another 50 years. Feeling confident from the first discovery and hoping for another wonderful discovery the team rushed to the second location. The team arrived on Bikini Island, quickly to establish a base camp and start the search. Exhausted from the rush to build the base camp on the island the Ekron scientist and Though Police decided to take a break and let the re-educated UNA members explore. After all, it is a deserted island, what could old UNA scientist do?

Has the United North American people been completely defeated? The single most power thing in the universe has always been the indomitable will of the human spirit. Though unable to be seen in public, groups of UNA people collect in the shadows and meet in dark secret places to remember their histories, their traditions, and their way of life. Under the right leader, the will become a Shadow Force to one day stand up and bring back the United North American empire. Unbeknownst to the Thought Police, a UNA researcher working in the bowels of an abandon library has discovered the Fire in the Sky. Fire in the Sky, was an old UNA project of orbital launch platforms orbiting Earth targeting strategic locations in the Ekron empire. The systems to control these platforms have been buried and lost in the sands of time. The UNA must find them. Only with the Fire in the Sky, will the Shadow Forces of the UNA have a chance of defeating the Ekron empire and returning to glory.

i played a day at the 2012 tet offensive. before that i had not played any scenario games except for the walk on games at sc. i have to admit i did not think it would be that fun. but it was i had a blast!!!

this game is always huge... its THE game of the year on the west coast... start planning!... over a thousand people on a HUGE playing field that has all kinds of terrain. its a great place for veteran scenarion players and teams and there are sooo many people willing to help people learn the ropes so don't be intimidated. come out enjoy a great weekend of playing and camping.
