Got the Plastidip to thin back out, so I could "paint" it on evenly (more or less). Just had to let it soak in water for the better part of a week. May end up peeling it off and going for something even better/cooler/more creative.

Where do you guys pick up your mirrored lenses? I've searched around online and a lot of the websites that have them for a decent price seem a little skeevy. I'm thinking of picking up a gold mirrored lens and if any of you guys have bought one online before, I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

ANSGear is about as legit as you'll get. I've spent hundreds of dollars there. They have the mirrored lenses. Keep in mind that "chrome" =\= "mirror." The mirrored ones are dual-pane thermals. The chrome ones are not as reflective in my experience, and are the single-pane lenses.

I just checked ANSGear and all the mirrored lenses are only pre-order, meaning they haven't released yet. I don't see how this is possible considering that some of you guys already have the mirrored ones.

Yes, they've released. That usually means they've run out of stock, and I'd assume the initial run wasn't very big, in case the dual panes weren't very popular. So basically, only the skeeves are gonna have them in stock, because they don't sell as much product as ANS. You can try the chrome ones, or wait.

I'm thinking of painting my pair of Grill, but once I paint it, can I remove the paint after if I don't like it...?

I'm going to be dying and repainting my Stormtrooper mask in the next couple weeks, I'll test some paintstripper out and make sure it doesn't eat the rubber.
Boba Fett is next.
