Ion is puffing. Need help.
The gun fires for about two or three shots and then it starts puffing out of the grip. After about three shots of it puffing then it doesn't make any noise when I pull the trigger. The first puff is the hardest and it gets softer as i shoot it. Then if I let it sit for like twenty seconds it shoots again, then so on. The gauge is at 200 and this happens with eyes on and off.

You need to rebuild your regulator.

I opened it up and the capacitor on the board was loose and one of the metal prods is disconnected from the board.

The little metal things holding the capacitor to the board. One is secure but the other is disconnected. Is there any way to re solder it to the board? Or do I need a whole new board?

I opened it up and aired it up and the leak seems like its coming from the solenoid head area.

Lemme check out one of my stock boards to better see what you mean. In the meantime, is the leaking from the t-piece? Is it from the two hoses or from the piece itself?

It's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from. It only leaks if it is pushed a certain direction. But it puffs instead of firing. The air coming out is coming from the same area as the leak.

The puffing is most likely caused by the solenoid not being powered enough from the capacitor. It is possible to resolder the capacitor to the board, but it will be difficult due to the solenoid being in the way.

The regulator is not coming off either, I know that it's reverse threaded, but it won't come off.

the regs are standard right hand threads. Make sure you take it off correctly. and they can get stuck pretty good without using any lubrication on the threading. You could try using a crescent wrench to turn it via the adjustment screw at the bottom (after you removed the macro line, the fitting could stay in place). Unfortunately, this would either max out or zero your regulator.

It shouldn't ruin it if you turn it where the nut is for adjusting the pressure. You'll just end up zeroing/maxing out your reg in the process, but it'll get your reg off. Also, you could try using a strap wrench to take off the regulator, but if its stock, chances are you'll just spin the rubber grip.
