It's not the WCPPL thats at fault for the delay in points being added to player profiles. Game results are updated to APPA in real time during the event. Thats how APPA determines who advances to the finals when teams are tied. Once the scores are in the system its up to APPA to certify the results which will then update player profiles.

The last set of points from matches never got put in from the way it looks. It was the same issue with event 1

APPA has all of it. It will be updated befor the next WCPPL that I'm sure of.
The delay on APPA's end could be that they are continually expanding the number of tournaments that they oversee and maybe haven't expanded the management to keep up with the volume of data.
Re-ranking of players also occurs every six months so maybe the delay is in part to keep teams together for the remainder of the season. Some D4 teams have players near the D3 threshold and if re-ranked, teams would either have to up a division or cut players.This is just speculation on my part; I don't know for sure what is behind the delay. |

I can believe that, Ive got my appa says Im D4 and D3 on the same page. Confused is confused.
I was hoping to see some of the D3 teams forced up into the D2 division this season, but like most players and teams they just fall apart and stay in the D3 ranks or just quit playing.

U can earn more points during a season to rerank u but u have to actually play an even higher then your current rank for the change to take effect. If u stay in ur division the rank will change at the end of the season...

Thats not true, I was pushed from D4 to D3
From APPA:
Note: Unlike 2011 and prior seasons, players may be promoted to any division at any time. There is no longer a cap on being promoted to D2 or higher if you did not play PSP events.
