My advice, If you aren't shooting rockets, Don't take on a tank!

I know what a hydro date is, but I don't recall seeing one printed anywhere on the tank. I have a ninja 68/4500 carbon fiber tank, that's supposed to be a 5 year hydro, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about, but where on the tank is the date supposed to be located?

Here is a picture of a nija tank (stolen from swapmytank.com, great guys to deal with hint hint )

If you notice the 4th line down the is an 02c12, this is the date the tank was hydroed. (c is really a C with a small L in the middle of the C). Hope this helps you out.

Interestingly mine also says 02 C 12. So it was hydro'd in the factory, had that label put on it, and it doesn't need to be hydro'd again until 02/2017?

I'm pretty sure thats the born date. But you are correct, it doesn't need a rehydro until 02/2017.

How does LL compare to D-Day? Did D-Day last year, and I'm considering this one.

Depending on how much paint you usually shoot I would say a case a day.

Also if you think that your not going to make a lot of trips to your gear I would suggest a cammelbak, I was thinking about bringing one this year. Also bug repellent wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Depends on how much paint you shoot and how much time you spend on the field. Me personally I would buy 3-4 cases. I normally shoot about 2 cases a day (if I'm REALLY going at it on a day of woodsball). I garauntee final battle will be insane so make sure to save at least 5-6 pods for that also!

Dear god your spelling hurts my brain to read.

My advice is to bring a hydration pod or camelback. Always have a working gun, check it before hand. you will blow through both air and paint, and you'll want both, so buy LOTS of paint and bring an extra tank in your harness/vest.

Avoid clumping up with a bunch of others, you just make an easy target for snipers. I took out a group of 12 kids that were tagging along with an adult in about 10 seconds.

And have fun, because if you don't you won't want to do it again.

What should someone that is a first timer (as myself) expect on a staging area? I will not be camping but staying in a hotel.

Would it be logical to stage out of your vehicle and walk? Or have a table setup?

I don't mind walking but just want to be close enough to get more paint and get back on the field.

Thanks

There is a lot of staging by field entrances, you should have no problems finding a spot to stage.

Can you get a home equity loan? Seriously though thats up to you. All I can tell you is that if you love to be in thick of some MONSTEROUS fire fights and have a spamatic tigger finger you will go thru a lot of paint. If you are old, slow, and broke down (like me) 2-3 should be good.

YES! bring a camelbak! I got a cheap one last year at walmart and used it during the whole weekend. It was a lifesaver!

The staging area near the field entrances, are you able to park in this area or should you bring your own "staging setup"?

No drive ups. Parking lot is not to far away, there are some picnic tables but bringing your own stuff would be a good idea.

I might invest in a wagon for moving gear from parking to staging this year. It's not just a paintball purchase, I'll be able to use the same thing at the shooting range, too.
