How do you handle edges? they don't get ragged?
Can you remove the coating if you wanted to change the pattern/color?

maybe it won't look too bad leaving the lid and collar plane?

I did not wrap the lid area on mine. Too many curves and on a rainy day i would still like to be able to use the lid.

How'd you do the barrel tip? Wrapped it and cleared the holes out with something? How'd you get a clean end at the end of the barrel?

I taped off the ends of.the barrel with masking tape. For the ports i put tooth picks in each one. It acted as a stand for painting and kept the paint out.
