We actually have 2 separate smoke generator systems in the Omega. The 2 "guns" on the front are false. Between the driver and the passenger in the front of the Omega, we have a large metal box that you can drop an orange smoke can in. The smoke is not very thick and is used mostly for show, but I haven't used that system in well over a year because its a pain to clean up after.

The second system uses a special smoke formula called Swamp Fog. We have a drip line set up that drops smoke directly into the exhaust. It produces a pretty large cloud of smoke (so long as the wind cooperates) and we frequently use it in support of infantry actions where we simply can't put down enough fire to cover advancing troops. It is particularly useful at places like Blanding and Command Decisions Paintball. The smoke is white, however, and we frequently have people chasing us down to let us know we are on fire Very Happy

I have used the fog bog juice with a fogger with poor results. I will have to try the drip on the exaust as that seems to work well for you. You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of your drip system would you?

I like the smoke idea. Have you tried taking a 4" PVC pipe filled with ice and a 3/4" pipe running throygh it. Hook a t up by fogger. Hook other end of t to air supply. Let fogger run for a moment or two and the hit with air blast. I use a sim step up around my electric chair at Halloween. Have it coming out the arms. Shoot out and fans out nice, takes some time practicing air bursts though.

Well I gave it a try. I bought a windshild washer kit with the pump 12v pump and fittings. Drilled a hole into my exhaust and installed a brass fitting. I filled the containter with fog bog and it barely made a puff of smoke. I think I honestly make a larger smoke cloud from buring oil. I changed the fitting to something that puts out a larger spray with the same results. If anyone is successful please share. I would love to add this weapon to my tank however all attempts have failed!

Look for the aircraft smoke kits. One of the team here installed on on their tank, and it worked awesome. Like this:

The first 2 links are blocked so I will have to check them when I get home. The last link shows pumping the fuel to the muffler. I had mine going strait to the exhaust right after the engine. I figured this was the hottest part and the muffler would be to cool to produce the smoke. Im not sure if it is worth trying to drill into the muffler.

I didn't look at the third link and it provides some great info. I wonder if spraying the fluid on the muffler would work?

The local team had it dump into the catalytic converter. They bought the kit on eBay, but I can't find it now. I will try and get some more details from them. I don't think you would need a pump system on a tank since it won't be flying at different angle or upside down. A drip system would probably work.

I have read that castor oil works well also but it was to thick for my pump and I was unable to use it.

I don't think that is the same one. It had a tank to hold the smoke fluid. If I remember right, it was around $150. I also think it was for an airplane. I haven't talked to those guys yet though.

I think I am gonna forgo the smoke screen. If we need to, we can deploy some hand tossed smoke grenades. My partner wants to look at a rear gunner position. So it looks like our modifications will be on that area for now.

I do not have any pics of the tank with the smoke deployed. It was at Super Game 43 last May. The smoke cloud it made was pretty big though. I don't know how much smoke fluid was used.

I plan to buy the kit within the next month or two. Once installed, I can then post some pics. I am going to try and make my own smoke fluid from that thread I posted using the different mixes.

I will post up once I have my smoke system in place. I am sure I could put something together for a little cheaper than the kit, but sometimes buying the kit vs the savings isn't worth it.

I wish they had a better description about what the components are though. From reading how the smoke systems work, it sounds like the smoke fluid is pre-heated before entering the exhaust. Rigging up the pre-heater is where I think I would run into problems. I would imagine it has to be a certain temperature to be effective.
