Yes, but there is more to it than that. Reciprocating mass, flow rates, etc. The NT uses different parts and operates in a different manner, comparing those two pressures is apples to oranges.

My buddies DM11 shoots significantly smoother than my NT11 even though I feel mine shoots about as smooth as a Clone VX after the BWing mod. I shot them all back to back on Saturday. I still need to throw the green tip on my NT, though I still don't think I will get it as smooth as the DM11, to me that was night and day.

Well my NT makes a higher pitched noise than a DM, but is as smooth as any other gun I've shot.

I tried screwing in the stock screw all the way. Didn't notice any real difference in velocity or smoothness. I did notice that around +/- 500 psi on the tank the gun stopped fully cycling.

Floodman23 - PM me if you woudl liek to get more info on the work i do on NTs. im sure once you get it back from DYE the gun wil be in good working order. and then we can get it working better than stock for you.

What pressure/dwell are people running their NT11s at that were sent in?

Mine was done by B Wing it shot great but had problems shooting fragile paint at cup so when I got home did some research and I came up with this green bolt tip reg pressure at 110 psi and set dwell to 11 instead on 9 were billy had it set. With dwell at 9 it shot fine but when I did these changes it allowed me to shoot brittle paint. I also notice something else about the nt11 if I use my deadly wind cf barrel the gun is louder an not as smooth, but when is us my ul boom stick its way more quite an much smoother. Hope this info helps.
