Nah, they just took his post out of context.

He wasn't bashing paintball, he was making an observation. it wasn't even something we didn't already know, or else our sport wouldn't have had these image problems to begin with. you can't be telling me you've never met someone who didn't assume you played war games in the woods the second you mentioned paintball. We all have.

I mean c'mon, how credible can inside edition be when they use the term "paintball warfare" at the exact moment they are showing DYNASTY wearing BRIGHT BLUE and running to BRIGHT RED BUNKERS? I actually lol'd. people being presented with Alex Fraige are not going to associate what they see with war. You can bash IE for their hilarious ignorance but don't insult their viewers' intelligence, especially considering every non-paintballer is a potential new player.

i think this is a black eye on paintball, parents are now going to be a lot more resistant in letting younger kids get into it. i am a supporter of firearms and ive been around paintball for a long time. i just think its stupid to say they have similar aspects. next they will be doing checks on people who want to play laser tag.
