Yup, that's basically what happens.

What have paint prices been in the past? I was there 3 years ago and paint was around $75. Does it go up every year?

He was going to live...
The last I saw of him he was in pain but able to hobble. We put him in the evac golf cart with two EMTs and ice packs.
He got lucky. The tank hit his hopper first and then caught him above the knee on the inside of the thigh traveling upward. Tough guy. He was able to move it and put weight on it. Nasty bruise and he won't be waltzing for a while, but no broken bones. Just about anywhere else and things would have been icky.
One of our guys saw teh whole thing from about twenty feet to the rear. He has no idea what happend other than another kid tripped and the tank came flying out spewing CO2.
I've never even heard of this kind of accident and I started playing when dinosaurs roamed the earth with Nelspots and 12 grams.

Also Anyone know the status on that one kid who got hit by the CO2 tank missle? he was removed from the field by one of our tanks, so im assuming that was pretty bad

What I learned this year....
Tyrell went French this year as the French Monarchy and Justice (FMJ) Party.
1) No one appreciated that FMJ also stands for "full metal jacket."
2) Never set up an L-shaped ambush for 400 Allied players. Especially if you only have 20 or so Tyrell shooters and some wandering Germans for back-up. Didn't you people have a mission somewhere AWAY from the French Market?
3) Le' Petamane Thruway is a dream for another game. Probably a smaller game. Where I can park Cromagnum's tank at the toll booth. Maybe with some claymores and tiger pits for good measure.
4) Kidnapping April was fun!
5) Sean gives great mustache!
6) Crapgame is paranoid. Just because the meeting was at the Tippman Castle way out in the boondocks where no one can hear you scream...Uhm. Yeah. Good point. Last year the French made me eat a paintball. The year before that they put me in front of a firing squad. No, it was NOT with capguns. Ouch. XOs should avoid lonely meetings with the French.
7) The Diplomatic Reception had more costumes and general silliness without unending assassination attempts. It was almost...peaceful. Until Deadpool decide to attack Dimlott. Sigh.
8) It's fun to shoot AT the landing craft for a change.
9) A Circular Attack Strategy is often confused with being surrounded. The key difference is how many of the enemy you take with you. The screaming and whimpering are identical.
10) Some folks, who shall remain nameless, performed the ultimate miracle this game: they rendered me speechless. And I will be eternally grateful.

I remember BoB 2011 trying to take tippman city, that tank was our escort? it didnt even make it to the city limits before it was called out. Drill some port holes put a net over yourself and throw in an ego in the back and connect it to a 10lb scuba tank. You dont do any damage with the setup that you have

Next year you can buy a platform/vehicle and make it in to a tank of your liking. Then you can trailer it to a paintball park and run your OWN tank.
The allied forces shoud get down on their knees and to the Tank God that a couple of tanks went Allied.

If I recall, all of the (6?) tanks that showed up were German.
At least we had some tanks.

No actually the allies had at least 2 tanks. i heard of a third but never saw it on the field. That little sherman tank was pretty cool and the other one looked like crap but at least it got alot of time on the field. It would have been nice if the allies had at least one tank at the tank competition
I don't know why the Germans always have more tanks and obviously far more experienced tankers. The allied tank program was so weak that your leader defected to the German side lol.
I'm pretty sure the GErman tank slots are filled for the next few years at least but the allies could seriously use some decent tankers. Maybee little sherman guy can step up and lead that force and recruit some decent tanks for me to shoot at

I told Kev to call down to Fulda Gap and try to bring some of those boys up. If the tankers can get comped something and you can bring a few of them here... Well it could get fun

I have nothing against change and alterations I'm totally open to that, how else do you improve? But I will say again as well:
Getting rid of the 3rd entity will turn the game into a "Big Game." that's it, and we already have two of those in Stalingrad and Battle of Berlin/Britain. You will also kill the 1940's "feel" of the game which is what the French strive to maintain. We all have worked so hard to keep and strengthen that focus...Allied, German, French, and Tyrell.
This "gag" is staying right where it is...

ok then I guess to make it fair no more tanks for Battle of berlin or Stalingrad.
(I am being fecetious)
Litterally how about assigning EQUAL number of tanks to both sides.
OR have specific missions worth points just for tanks "gotta give them something to do"
ITS CALLED TAKE...GIVE

I came out from Spokane,Wa to play ION 12. My first time at skirmish and i was impressed. I played Allied and was out with my brother's team the whole weekend running missions only. We avoided the big firefights but got into plenty of smaller ones. I was first wave and first soldier out the ramp at Utah beach, and i can understand why there where some heatstroke cases! What a rush!!!
My only complaints are the normal big game ones......Not enough REF's/Medics,.....and players that dont leave their position when shot out less than 5 times in 15 seconds. On sunday during the final battle i was defending in "The Hood" and had a enemy player that just wouldn't leave. He was hiding in one of those wooden tanks near the buildings. I shot him 3 times in the side of the head from 20ft away in a time span of about 10 minutes. I guess the fifth shot would have hurt too much 'cause he finally crawled out and left while i was reloading.
Very fun game, and i will see some of you at Skirmish for Berlin! Take Care.

Oh....and about the pricing. For the one-of-a-kind experience skirmish provides to us ballers who love big games.......SO WORTH IT!!!!!!!! I dont want to imagine what their overhead costs are for hosting such a game.
