My head is small, and the straps are large. Any suggestions for helping my mask fit snugger? I like them to be super tight.

Did you try w/a hat on and pulling the 2 things away from eachother to tighten it?

This may have already been asked, but I haven't seen it posted. I have the newer style e vents and want to use a second strap, or use in place of the old one. It just seems like it wont fit properly. Is there any easy way of doing this?

Does anyone know if this strap will work with my E-Vents? http://www.actionvillage.com/paintba...can-skull.html
If not can someone point me in the right direction for some "aftermarket" straps ...
Thanks

Edit: just looked again and yes, those straps will work for double strapping.

Just bought a used set of these. is there any way to tell what the age on them are?
they seem to be in pretty good nick, considering I paid $60 for them (no stains, scratches, etc...)
They're just straight black and only came with the little half visor.
I had a few minor questions:
1) it's missing the left side retainer tab (the part the keeps the ear piece from rotating). Can these be purchased separately?
2) is there supposed to be a chin strap? are there chin straps available?
Beyond that, are there any 'mods' that would make it any better (better foam? better straps? better lens?)
It's certainly nice, fits my head well AND fits over my giant glasses

They do sell the retainer tabs separately from the mask/straps. ( http://empirepaintball.com/empire-e-vent-lockout-tabs)
Also, i'm not sure about the older versions, but the most recent e-vents came new with a chin strap that was removable.
You can double strap it (i personally like it due to the empire strap doesn't seem to get tight enough/stay tight. You can get different lenses such as the mirrored, smoke, or ninja.

Is the double strap information in this thread? it's... rather large. I don't mind looking but if you had the info on hand, I'd much appreciate it (of course as soon as I hit post, I'll probably google it anyway )
thanks for the lockout tab link. I never would have found that.
are the different lenses any BETTER? I assume it's just the tint that makes the difference?
what do you guys feel is the best tint for most woodsball matches? I was thinking yellow or amber might give some better contrast.

Here's a tut for double strapping the events (if you need any more pictures, i can send you some of how mine is done) http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...vent+strap+mod
Also, I forgot where, but someone did a whole article/post on the advantages/disadvantages between the colors of lenses.
Clear is, of course, clear.
Yellow is supposed to help with low light and prevent glare from an overcast/sunny day.
Smoke/Ninja lenses help block against the sun.
I think blue helps make things clear, but can distort colors?
Mirrored lenses are supposed to help against the sun + whatever color they are.
Polarized lenses block the sun well without much darkening and help keep the colors from distorting.
Correct me if i'm wrong on any of this information. (Trying to do it all from memory)

I believe a polarized lens would have to be treated by a third party company (such as luxotica). Most likely they'll need to be custom ordered. Like I stated previously, i'm not 100% sure on all the information about lenses.

Alright bought a brand new pair of events this year and the front top emblem has already peeled off and one of the small circular pins holding the strap to the soft ears fell out. My new mask is falling APART! Help?

The small plastic pins like to fall out (especially when double strapping them). Hoping you didn't lose the pieces, they will easily go back into place. Also, you could just use a small set of washers, bolts, and nuts in place of the plastic. Not too sure how that'd feel though.
They were testing out different formulas of adhesive because they were having that issue. It sounds as if not enough adhesive was applied during manufacturing and/or it was a weaker formula. A little bit of superglue will keep that troublesome child in its place for good.

Get in touch with Paintball Solutions. Empire stands behind their stuff and they'll try to help you out in any way possible. Pretty much everything I own is Empire (thanks to sponsorship), and they've always been there for me.

Might be able to replace them with these http://www.ansgear.com/JT_Replacemen...arscrewkit.htm
