valve body differences?

Looking to replace the ITP014, but found a ITP018. What are the differences?

Just guessing based on internet pictures, but does the 18 have exhaust ports on two sides whereas the 14 just has port on one side and a divot for the valvescrew one the other?

I wonder if the 18 replaced the 14 because it can be aligned either way and still work, making reassembly easier.

The ITP014 on my Spyder set screw hole is open into the valve body. Not sure if the ITP018 is partial but not open into the valve body for the setscrew.

Also the valve stem has a flat on the pin that allows the air to bleed to the hammer to reset it.

I have seen the new valve stem on the new Spyders that do not have a flat on it. Maybe the valve body has a hole at the back area to do the air bleeding.

You mean the new Eko valves?
I haven't taken one of those apart yet, but the balance valves on the VS Spyders had the hollow valvestems you're talking about.
