Phantom feel like mvp?

Hey guys I've been looking into the MVP lately, I've also been wanting to pick up a phantom for an extra gun. My question is without knowing what the MVP with no front grip feels like, do you think a phantoms would feel similar? The phantom setup I was thinking was just a back bottle setup so no front grip just pump handle. If the MVP wasn't so much I'd just pick it up first but with a slight price difference I figured if try something similar before dropping the cash. I do think i'd like it but I've never played with anything without a front grip.

The phantom could be in the same configuration, but by no means do they feel similar.
The pump stroke on the MVP is superior to the phantom where as the phantom has a more long/smooth pump stroke.

The lack of a front grip isn't a big deal on either platform, if you're playing pump, in reality your hands should be on the grip frame and the pump handle.

Pick up a used MVP or try and find someone local to try it out. I like them, but I'm more of a sheridan platform shooter.

"Superior" is certainly subjective. I prefer my guns not to cock until a ball is at least mostly loaded.

If your comparing either the MVP or a phantom to a Sniper based pump, yes they are more similar. but comparing them to each other they aren't. that would be like saying a trilly with a hooptie kit feels like a s6.5.

The mvp is light decent pump stroke and shoots well. It is loud, some people think that its Too "farty", pump stroke is not as smooth as a CCM but does seem lighter

pump stroke on an mvp is super fast and extremely smooth. the AT on it is amazing my ccm cant even keep up with it at all.
