CP one piece VS CP two piece.

So I'm looking to upgrade my current cocker threaded barrel with a new one and these inexpensive barrels came as good contenders. My question is, should I get the 2 piece even though for the time being I'm going to be only using the .685 bore back that will come with it or should I get the one piece in .685?

Also is .685 the way to go? I like the fact that I can easily by backs for the 2 peice and bore match pretty well.

Thanks for reading and responding.

No one has an opinion on what I should do? I'll take anything right now.

I use the .685 back, and like it a lot except for the porting. Also, the backs are about the same price or more than a whole new 1 piece so you could always just buy more one pieces.

I've noticed that aswell. The backs are the same price as the whole 1 piece why in the world would they price it like that? Is the 2 piece that much more superior than the 1 piece. are they 2 different standards of quality?

Not really, it allows for greater interchangabililty. Look at the CP advantage 1-piece barrels.

Yea, I do like the styling of porting on that one compared to the classic 1 piece. I really don't like the "bumps" on the end of it. I wounder if the advantage is louder than the classic?

I dont know about the CP barrels in general
I do use a 1 piece disruptive barrel, and the 1 piece was quieter than the 2 piece disruptive barrel...
Disruptive now realeased the new 2 piece deathtouch barrels and they are actually the same sound signature as my 1 piece barrel...

I personally prefer the 1 piece barrels myself, and where i play at, I can get away with using just a 682 or 686, them are the 2 main sizes i use...

Oh, I see. Im going to be looking up more information on them. Anyone else who has an opinion I would love to hear it.

As of this moment im thinking of just going one piece.

kits are more popular so thats probably a factor in the price. CP barrels are pretty nice for the price. if you know you only will use one bore and are comfortable with one length might as well save some cash and get a single barrel.

What kind of gun are you using? CP barrels are good. Like shru said, take a look at the disruptive products 1-piece barrel. I have one, it is awesome and priced the same as a CP. Some say that the Disruptive barrel is also quieter.

Its going on my azodin blitz. I played a few games with the stock barrel and ball accuracy is ****. Just want to be able to gain a lot of accuracy with no ill drawbacks. The main reason I was going with the CP is the value for what you paying.

Sorry everyone for the double post!

But ive made my decision. I am going with the CP one piece. Mainly because at the moment I dont mind having one setup and sticking with it. As long as a 2 piece in the color, length, and bores I want doesn't come on the B/S/T boards it will stay there

Save yourself some time and just buy both Lurker Eigenbarrels. You'll end up getting them anyway.

So I have made my purchase. I currently own a powerlyte scepter barrel kit. I secretly wanted a freak or similar kit and when I had the chance I jumped right on it. Paid the same amount as the 2 piece would have cost.

Thanks everyone for the help!
