i actually don't think the lions will make the playoffs this year. i see them being third in the NFC north. GB, CHI, DET, MIN is how i see it playing out.
oh and unless the cowgirls find a way to grow some balls and play some defense i don't see them making the playoffs either. i like your chances on that bet of yours sir. |

I know, I know....and while Falcos words hold a lot of weight, and I feel like Smith could break out as a super sophomore, they'll ultimately hold their teams back this year.
At least SF has a young enough defense to be able to replace Smitty as a 9th year junior and still have a chance at success...where as Baltimores dominant defensive window is slamming shut at whatever rate Ray Lewis ages at.

I don't see Joe Flacco getting much better if any, he's been in the league at this same level pretty much since he came in while Alex Smith still has room to improve. I know he's been in the league a while but it didn't help that he had to learn a new playbook every off season. With that said, I think the 49ers have a better chance at making the Super Bowl than the Ravens do.
