All Victory's, Ripper's, and V2's are Gen2 Marqs.
Any marq with a macroline is a Gen1 Marq.
Plus BL guns don't go by year's like other companys do, its either from one generation or another.

I just ordered a BL V2 Vic, was wondering if I should just get a Ninja SLP reg and use it on my current PE 68-4500, or should I just buy a Ninja 68-4500 and remove the shims? Or should I just buy both the Ninja tank and put the LP reg on it?
TIA

You should do what ever you want it's your money.
As long as your using a lp tank output the gun will be happy.
If don't have a lp tank reg yet, then yes get a ninja reg.

I just want to do it right. Cause I would assume if I just removed shims on a Ninja HP tank, even though it will drop it to a LP tank you really wouldnt know what the PSI output is right? Whereas the Ninja SLP is rated @ 300 but the manual says a tank should be at 450-550. Unless I read that wrong.

Slp was made just for the victory's and g6r's.
If you get adjustable ninja reg taking all the find out will make it around the 450-500 range.

The Gen 2 Marqs (Victory V1 and V2, Ripper) use a different pressure tester. The front of the tester and marker has a slightly/stepped down diameter.
For Gen 1 pressure testers:
A pressure tester for a M-TAC can be used on any Gen 1. Original Gen 1 testers do not work on the M-TAC since they are too short.

Zero out both regs and reset your pressures. Start with 75 LPR and 160 HPR. Adjust up to chrono

Yes Zero Out the Regs and start with the HPR to 160psi and then set the LPR after that chrono and adjust the HPR until you are shooting 290 to 300fps.

Marq 7 is leaking from the little set screw directly under the barrel, took out the engine and lubed everything, took apart the reg and all orings are fine. basically gets louder when I turn up my HPR and quieter when I turn it down.. lol Any help?
Also won't even cycle the bolt if I try and dry fire

Take the screw out and loctite it..
That screw is from when the air channels were drilled.

Wow thanks lol just got a marq7, it was getting barely 4 pods off of a 3000 fill, I swapped barrels from a 689 to a furious lotus 679 and got 5 1/2 pods. Never knew barrel match could be so important!
