dpb combatible wit counterstrike? not halflife'

i wanna know if i could buy counter stike on steam and play dpb; i never liked half life and want to know if i can avoid it' can anyone confirm this? thxz in advance for any knowledge!

im almost certain all you need is a game that runs on the half life engine. all of the games you listed do so you should be able to buy whichever and install dpb

im not sure if counter strike would work since it still runs its own halflife server but its worth a try cause cs is a great game ...but if non of that matters you might only need the HL laucher which installs with like every HL based game

Counter strike WILL NOT WORK. If you buy counter strike, you cannot get DPB. To my knowledge you need Half-life, and nothing else works.

k so i got half life and counter strike; condition zero package today $10 buck alltogether' i think i got dpb 2.1 workin i guess no one playing though? lmk thx!

best times to go on is 7pm-10/11ish (eastern time)...this is where the room fills up fast and where the pick up games begin. Get there early cause when the rooms full theres always people waiting to get in! You may also get a decent turnout sometimes during the day. Add people on steam and people will msg you to get on!

i think half life and condition zero ar pointless; ive been having nothing but problems with them' like it changes the models in the og counter strike into stupid looking ones? i got lucky and found someone who made a pack to change them back though' i was wishing i never got rid my hard copy of cs that i got a long time ago cuz i could run dpb off it and never had to deal these issues ugh!

Im prettysure dpb is an only half life 1 mod, as long as you have the half life engine you can run it, im not sure if counter strike would work at all

No it doesnt.. I had the same problem awhile back and had to get HL1.
