Showing a picture of an ugly (I hate watermelon colors) custom anodized gun does nothing to justify a decision. What does help is facts. Facts: the droid is smaller, lighter, smoother, quieter and more efficient. Reliability is kind of a wash... Make sure you get a gold bolt on the droid and try to get a v3 valve and you'll be good to go. The ONLY thing the DM has going for it is the UL frame... if you love that, then your options are pretty limited.

wow seems to me that all YOUR facts are all directed to the Droid, so it's obvious that's ur choice of gun, no need to be Jelly of a pretty gun bro

Haha... nah man. I am a big fan of DMs. I've owned quite a few of them, but they don't perform as well as droids. They're not MY facts; they're FACTS.

Oh, and my droid was hotter than that DM anyway ... here is a pic from the new owner:

For real though. If you're going to come in here, don't spout bull**** or talk out of your ***. Gtfo or grow up. Quickly.

Pssh, those don't look half as good as either of these

A droid will out perform just about anything out there, but the dm feels better in the hands; and has better customer service

Feeling better in the hands is strictly an opinion... I tried to post facts. I love DMs so I try to be as unbiased as possible. When it comes to droids, shooter and your exalt, is all I'd take over my ranjerz.

Droids = good efficiency, good ergonomics, smooth and quiet but some parts like bolts, valves and reg seats can fail and parts are sparse. The noids are nice and robust.

DM7 = smooth, quiet, decent ergonomics but the stock board is meh (Tadao will reflash them) and eye pipes sometimes crack but parts are easy to find. Dye uses nice robust noids and I love Dye regs. They are extremely consistent and reliable.

I've been shooting a Droid since 2008 and I refuse to put it down. Just a really nice shooting gun and it is as reliable (in many cases more so) than any DM. Also, the Droid isnt as finnicky as a DM. It is pretty much a set and forget type gun. As long as you perform regular maintenance after a day of play you will be golden.
Parts are not hard to find for the Droid. Simply go to MacDev's website and you will find pretty much everything you need for the Droid.

Both are great guns. The DM isn't going to be as efficient, but I think has better ergonomics. The Droid is quieter, smoother, and more efficient. Finding parts for the DM will be easier than the Droid. Ultimately, the choice comes down to you. I owned both and kept the DM and sold the Droid (only because the Droid was worth more).

As far as smoothness of shot, and efficiency droid wins easily. If you like the ul frame the dm may be more comfortable, but between the two I would choose the droid.

I definitely think Droids are better looking.

Convinced me to look out for a deal on a droid since I have a dm6 to compare already.
