hey guys i recently just picked up my first PE marker, an etek 2

first off i have a couple questions, my buddy has an etek 2 also but his on the regulator says 'ETEK' , mine says ' ECLIPSE ' .. why?
Also his rammer cap is flush, mine looks more like a zick kit rammer cap, soo maybe i have a zick kit hah?

also how do i change my firing modes.. i have searched everywhere and on youtube and mine just doesnt seem to flash same colours and suff as their markers.. its getting really frustrating

at one point PE started using in stock parts from the EGO's on the Etek series. If you read through some of the stickies, you will find that the Etek3 has many parts in common with the Ego's.

Thats probably why yours says Ego, and his says Etek.

Aftermarket/Replacement regs say Eclipse on them: http://violentseries.com/regulators.aspx

Maybe the reg has been replaced?

More than likely, the previous owner switched out the regs and put an Ego reg on there. Shouldn't be a problem, most the reg's in that year were about the same. You probably do have a Zick kit since the rammer cap is sticking out. If the board isn't flashing like the stock manual says it should, then maybe it's an upgraded board. Open the grips and see if the board says any specific brand on it, possibly Tadao or Virtue?
