Hello Nation, and Midwesters. My name is Jordan Schaefer and I am the acting Vice-President for the ISU Redbird Team. I saw there was a post requesting information on the team, and I wanted to make an official contact thread for anyone who is curious about the team at all.
We are an NCPA 5 man team with established members and a good history in competation. We are going out again and going to have an even bigger year. Several old names will be sticking around to advise and hang out, but we are looking for fresh new players to add to our rooster. If you can handle a gun and know the game well we would love to see you come out for try-outs sometime. We will have dates for those at a later time.
As for now, anyone with questions can send me a PM over nation at this time. Those interested in the team and will be transfer, or incoming freshmen, or are current classmen at ISU can hit me up and I will give you any information I can give.
We are also doing something new this year to grow the local industry and get the sport some more publicity. The ISU team will be starting a recreation team as well. This will be a a grouping of people who love paintball, or want to try it but do not have the money or time to commit to a competitive team. The Recreation team will also include the comp. team as we want to have fun too

We will go out once a month or so to some of the amazing fields in the area and have a blast playing multiple play styles and enjoying the sport!
I also am very happy to announce that the Redbird team is now sponsored by Urban Warfare in Bloomington, IL. They are an awesome indoor field with great staff and have been kind enough to take us in.
At this time, the team is also looking into area sponsors and fund-raisers to help fund our season. We are for sure competing in the NCPA all the way to Nationals but we are also looking into other series to play in.
All in all, it is looking to be an awesome year, I am stoked to get this show on the Road!
