Does anyone else on the nation have an Italian Mastiff/Cane Corso? Ours is about 3 years old and 145lbs.

Cool dog! I have a south african mastiff.


not quite as big she is smallish for her breed about 115 lbs. pretty similar dogs they just conquered different parts of the world! would be cool to have a mastiff thread.
I saw a cane corso in NY that looked just like mine.

Just got a black brindle female Cane Corso. Love her to death

great dogs, i have always wanted one. a nice one was abandoned at our kennel recently but we unfortunately had to put it down. I wanted to take him but it wasn't possible.


i am currently looking for a corso or a dogue de bordeaux. if we get another retired police sheapard i will go that route as well. my aunt got the last one, 2 yr old police dog that had to be retired because of splay foot (talk about a score).

I love Sheppards as well. Dad use to work wit them, but for now Cane Corsos it is.
