Need a new (pump) gun

Well you see... I've played PB for 3 years but I know nothing about any guns except the shocker. I herd autocockers are good for Pump conversions? Does anybody have any good brands/models I can look up? I don't need a PE Ego 11 of pumps. Just an oldie or something ok to start on. Please! Ideas!

I would look for any mostly stock WGP cocker and buy a pump kit. It's easy to install. This is we be the best and most affordable way to try pump.
If the cocker is 99 or older, you will have to buy a pre-2k pump kit for it.
If it is 2000 or newer, buy 2k+

Depends on your price range. you can get a cheap converted Trillogy for about $100 or spend over $500 for a CCM that was built from the ground up to be a smooth pump. WGP Prostock bodies are cheap and easy to find and can be converted easily in the $200 range.

There are too many options if you just leave it open like that. Give us something to start with, what is particularly important to you?

One of these days I'm going to make a flow chart or something...

Try to find an 04 Prostock. Those are perfect for pump conversions. If you want an alternative, you can buy a Trilogy. Most of them are pumps anyway in the BST, and they're only $100. A good thing about them is if you want a better pump, or simply don't like it, you can resell it for $100.

Although, if you buy a Trilogy autococker (non-pump) then you will need to buy a pump kit made just for the trilogy. You can find them at ANSgear.com or paintballgateway.com. Have fun! I have an Autococker as well. System X Vengeance. It's prepped for transformation ;p.

I have 2 autococker pumps, and would recommend them for anyone trying to find a new pump...they are affordable, durable, & work great.
