I haven't brought this up until now because I Might be trading my Alien, But When I received my alien My detent colors weren't the same color as the rest of the marker and They were worn down on the edges as shown in the pictures. Is there anything I can do about this without spending any money..?

He is on vacation so it might be a couple days before you hear from him here.

However, that doesn't appear to be a color combo or the shade of green that Alien uses. Did you buy it directly from Alien or from someone else? because it looks like someone took some spray paint to an all black Invasion....

Looks like some **** spray painted the gun.

In this case, get OOPS, Goof Off or some anti-vandalism spray, tear down the whole gun, but the plug all the orifices, then just spray away at he body and wipe down with microfiber.


Then clean the gun parts affected with rubbing alcohol, dry, then lube and reassemble

Its just the detent covers. I can use an alan wrench to take it off.

Anyways everyone, It's not spray paint. It's painted by a brush (you can see the brush strokes if you look close)
I bought it directly from Jack himself.
Which is why I was curious. It wasn't some "****er" who painted it, it was jack..

That was part of a team deal - I was out of green and they were supposed to be sent back when the new ones came in.
I guess your Captain didn't tell you.
I really don't know why you would post here instead of calling the shop - but...
I have them here just send those back.

Anyways can I just get the gloss black ones since the rest of the marker is black?
I knew we were supposed to be getting a new set.. he told me you were sending them to him then we would send the ones we got first back.
I guess it's the other way around. Alright, ill send them out tomorrow I believe

Because about 20 sets of guns had scratches on them when shipped and, even though these were team guns, I wanted the to be right so I took the eye covers off and had them reannoed at the factory.
I can see how it appears to be otherwise as all the information was not included in the original post.

Yes, a very reasonable thought.
As Griffin said - I had some "other green" that I wanted to try - and had an extra set of covers, so I spray painted them - just to see. When I got set to send the guns and noticed that they weren't right - I just put on something "until" and let the team know.
