Eh, maybe. On the other hand, Espinosa has been hit more than any other player in baseball in the last two seasons. He was hit earlier in the.game on a similar pitch, but he was swinging. That slight movement inward is part or his swing. Second time around he.just didn't move. It's no worse than a catcher framing a pitch and.getting a call.

Except that was a pitch fully in the strike zone and he leaned in. It's quite different, it's a horse**** play that doesn't earn a young team respect. |
