nah, that's a bad pitch. Its either a ****ty changeup or bad breaking ball. Either way, it caught way to much of the plate and he paid for it.

Ryan Zimmerman disagrees.

Just because some people tell you you're a good troll doesn't mean you have to try this hard. Even a woman knows that a GIF of the swing doesn't tell you 1/4 of that.

no, its a somebody who's played baseball thing. That's.not.a.good.pitch.

Unless its like 3-1 count there's no reason to ever throw that pitch and there's no way he meant to throw a pitch like that. Just look at it, catcher was lined up low and away and the pitch came in almost dead center knee high.

Pitch missed the backdoor, was moving in knee high. Looks like one of his high 80s sliders. Everyone was surprised it left the park, as evidenced by Zimmerman's reaction in the dugout. Balls were flying to right field. Pitch missed the target, but it wasn't an exceptionally bad pitch. He didn't hang a breaking ball.

Whoa ... not everyone was surprised.

I wasn't. Zimmerman is crushing everything. It was the 4th of July and he'd already just missed a home run. I expected a dinger

It wasn't a good pitch. It was supposed to be outside corner. Zimmerman did what guys who win back to back Silver Slugger awards do with those pitches. Crush them.

Holy ****! It's July 5th and not only are the Nationals in first place, but they have the best record in the NL. Seems like forever ago I was reading box scores in Iraq and catching replays on Sportscenter of this:

Oh, he'll keep it up all right. I'm more worried about peavy than sale. And quintana has been a monster so far, but I don't think he'll keep it up. He doesn't walk guys, but he also really can't strike them out. Once MLB sees him enough I think he'll get exploited. Hope I'm wrong though because with the way floyd, humber and danks have pitched this year, we need him.
