don't worry about it too much. I haven't heard similar complaints from anyone else and we had 5-6 eflexes at the field this weekend. It's possible that mine just wasn't assembled correctly to begin with.

I suspect if more people have an issue with the soft ear hardware tolerances then empire would probably start replacing parts for people.

I have practiced in mine twice now and the "very" small gap that was at the nose bridge when I first played in them was completely gone the 2nd time. Guessing the foam just needed a little time to break in. They fit my face like a glove now.

I don't notice any black line whatsoever when playing.

I would recommend this mask to anyone, absolutely love it

I went to go pick one up at my local store on Friday and passed two people coming out with E Flexes. The guy at the store said those were the last two he had. Feels bad, man.

Though it will give me time to sell my other masks so I don't end up with 4 unnecessary ones.

I would love to see a polarized lense, I was thinking that the other day but have never seen one on a mask.

Spit balling here but could something like this be nice modification?
http://www.polarizingsheet.com/polar...h-adhesive.php
You could stick it on the inside and then cut along the inner thermal lens part with an exacto so its the right shape. UV protection and polarization.

quick review... I LOVE MY MASK.

prior.. i was wearing e-vents. so i was familiar with the fit of the lens around my face. e-flexs breathe so much better. its so much better, my usual end of the day headache wasnt as bad this time around.(it was also 95 degrees) i credit this solely to the mask allowing me to breathe better while im on the field.

and yes.. ive owned and used profilers, profits, i4s, e-vents and proflex masks. this is my last mask.

I recently just sold 3 Pair of events and a proflex to grab enough cash to buy my eflex. Plus im sick and tired of lending all of my goggles out just to get them back at the end of the day covered in paint. Oh and guess who cleans them? ME, i do because my friends are lazy turds. Plus i had cash left over to buy some other pb goodies.

Yeah that's what ruined my original Pro Flexes. Loaned them to a friend and he gave them back to me 3 weeks later absolutely covered in sticky, congealed paint that turned the foam into a gross mess that no amount of cleaning was able to fix.

It looks weird yet I'll end up buying one sooner of later.
Does anyone know how the jaw coverage is? My current E-Vents leave about an inch of my jaw open to be hit.

I never once noticed the black line actually playing a game. Youll find a lot of people on PBN are collectors and resellers, not players. People that actually go out and hit the field wont have any issues looking downrange. These are the best masks in the sport right now. 100% pleased with mine.

I've not had a chance to play in mine, but doing videos for them, i can't help but notice it. I'm sure it will not be a factor when i'm playing, but i've not gotten a weekend off work yet.

Im pretty sure the inside nose bridge sits the mask lower down on the events. So firstly the black line is behind that bridge and secondly your eyes are centered better on the lense. On the e-flex it looks like the inside nose bridge sits the mask too high up, putting the black line pretty close to your line of sight.
