Viking Body: What to do, suggestions!?
Hey guys, so I recently stumbled across an old AKA viking body. I picked the gun up as a whole with no solenoid, and have decided to part it.
Would it be better to part the body with the internals (valves, etc) or to take them out?
Also, didn't want to mess anything up. How do I go about removing the contents of the tubes inside?
I've owned a few, but never messed with one in this much detail before!
Thanks, all input is appreciated!

Here is a guide for as disassembly: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=854382
As far as parting it, I don't know if there is much demand for most of the internals. Since the valve can be used in both Merlins and Evil Ms, you could fetch a decent price for that, possibly the bolt again for an Evil M, and the sidewinder a feedneck for as well. It will make it harder to sell the rest, although I remember Jared (Destructive Customs) was looking for unmilled bodies at one point. Again, there's not much demand for an empty body, lpr, or cartridge, but you never know when someone may want them.

It might make a nice body for milling. Get a frame for it (like one of the ones they put on the Valhalla Vikings) and you have something interesting.

I think your better off selling the body with the internals.

Sell. You can removes the internals in the ram tube with the 3 pronged tool from akalmp. It's a blind 02 body though. Gl selling

I might take it off your hands.
What price were you thinking?

Those are a 10+ year old platform there is no market for the internals except for the noid and bolt if it is not worn out. Unfortunately, without a noid, you can not test the rest of the components to see if they work.
To get it up and running someone will to have to put several hundred dollars into it. Meaning the price for the body would have to be pretty low to sell it. As it sits you would be lucky to get 60 out of it with the internals.
The only place that I know that still has parts is DC. AKA does not have anything for this style gun.

Did you sell this viking on eBay? If so I actually own it now and I have almost completely rebuilt the gun. But does any one have any suggestions on what kind of bolt to buy?

Contact Destructive Customs, Acid Customs or MeuroM for getting a new bolt.
