Kaos tank and hopper upgrades

Hi there, I'm new to the paintball scene and just picked up a kaos with a generic grav hopper and 20 oz. CO2 tank, and was wondering what my upgrades should be in regards to the marker. I'm 16 and about to get a summer job, and paintball isn't my main priority, as I have a car and need to pay for gas as well. Any suggestions for a good HPA tank and low end electric hopper? Also, if you could even suggest a mask, as I'm borrowing my friend's backup JT Elite. Keep in mind that I'll be using a mech gun, so I don't necessarily need a hopper that can 20 bps.

Thanks again for any advice you guys can give me, I'm sure that some day I'll be the one helping out the new guys, cuz paintball's something that I love to do with my friends.

A used Halo B35 will probably feed faster than you can fire the Kaos.
The Viewloader Evo 4 has generally gotten good reviews as a lower cost motorized hopper.
Plenty of them up for sale in the BST forum.

Tanks... pshh I mean... how much do you want to spend? Again plenty of them in the BST forum. I'd say find a Ninja, Guerrilla or even a Crossfire in a 68/4500 size.

Masks. Man that's total personal preference. Some people love certain masks and other people hate the same mask. Dye i4's rule the day right now but they're pretty spendy. If you can try on different masks at your local shop.
I can't recommend anything below $80 because that's where my preferences start.

DONT BUY A 3000 PSI TANK, THEY are a WASTE of your MONEY. spend the extra $60 and buy a tank that is 4500psi.

3000psi tanks are impossible to sell when used!

I play casually, but my friend's trying to get me on the path towards maybe a bit of tourney play. Nothing big, but he says when I'm ready he'll sell me his proto slg 2010 on the cheap. He also told me he'd sell me a tank and invert too together for 70$, which sounds like a steal. Lemme know what you think, my air fields do all day air for cheap, so several trips to fill up isn't an issue for me. Also, is the slg 2010 a good investment later down the road if he sells it to me for $100?

The tank and invert too is a great deal, seeing that just a halo too is roughly $70. What size tank?

Pretty sure its just a generic 48ci 3000psi, but it's better than using CO2.

Also, what about the slg 2010? Pros, Cons? And is it worth 100$?

I've used a friends slg. Love the design, didn't chop at all through 2 cases. Definitely worth it. I think they cost around $250 new. Go for it!

*EDIT: I said $150 at first, my mistake.

Sounds great, getting a job so I'll be able to buy it all from him. With that setup will I be ready for competetive play? My friend says so, and he's the manager for a local team we have, but we're brand new.
