The previous owner sold it broken, seems they tried taking it apart without a valve tool and banged on the valve so hard, it's leaking because it's misaligned and grinding on the poppet shaft. I've been looking at the valve and it looks remarkably like a 'cocker valve (I've also looked at sheridan valves but the ones I've seen don't have the o'ring lip for the valve o'ring like the stock valve has.

This typhoon is unregulated, would a pre-2k 'cocker valve work? do I need a sheridan valve? or should I try to get one from PPS?

PS: Sending the marker over to PPS to get it fixed is not an option.

Yes, shipping alone would be more expensive than having a local machinist copy the valve and straighten it out (~$40), so yeah shipping basically.

I would just order a new Typhoon Valve from PPS that would be your best bet as long as you have the tools to install it.

you will need a sheridan valve tool if you dont already have one.

as for the groove for the o-ring on the front of the valve, only cocker valves have grooves for the o-ring to sit in, the sheridan valves just have a 'shelf' of sorts that the o-ring sits on while you install it and seals against the coupler inside the body.
