so Jack, I'd like to take the last half of this thread and create a spool-specific thread with it. Thing is, that will be more visibility and more calls/etc (not necessarily a bad thing)... are you at the point yet to give this a higher profile in the forum or you're content with the news on the spool being tucked away in the back of this thread?

Probe has been suggested almost since we first started. This gun has a unique feature that the gun has used for it's "working title" - we'll see how that goes for the name

this is what i would like to see changed
I would like to see either a macrolineless gun or have the macroline come out the middle of the asa (through the knob) instead of the sides.
Barrel kit with at least 2 backs. the CF mayday kit was sweet!
all guns come oled
other than that, i dont see much to change.

Oh man I have a perfect idea for a spooler......It would keep the whole small feel, be totally different than anything on the market AND break up the lines to make it cool to look at It would also be the most dependable spooler ever! Could also keep the sweep feature, the rubber bolt tip.........and a have a quick strip bolt. I wish I knew how to use the 3d software to mock it up.

Theres a bunch of us on the forums with CAD/Solidworks experience. I am sure I or someone else could help you. Assuming this is for real, but at the same time I know Jack is working hard on this already.

Well even if we mocked it up, I don't have the funds to put anything into production is the problem. Not even a prototype.
the design itself would probably be easy to mock up.

if a CAD or solid works mockup is made of the bolt system i could possibly get it made at my school or at a friend's friend's machine shop. but cant do anything intricate like 3d milling

Well my idea, if it would even work, would require a complete working of a body and bolt together. I don't even know if it would work to be honest. It's only in my head at this point although I do appreciate all the kind offers
