^^^This. Dude in that video needs to pull that thing down so it's even with his brow line and raise that strap up a bit in the back.

Mine...

I just want to know one thing.. which has a less chance of fogging e-flex or proflex

Not hard, but takes a little finesse and patients.

Of course if the mask is set too high, you are gonna have issues of fit. This applies just the same for the mask being too low. No matter what I do, the mask seems to find the sweet spot and fits me fine. That little "blind spot" doesn't go away much. Most masks have the thermal part closer to the edge of the lense and not as high up like the event system. Either way, the pros of this mask far outweigh negatives.

And by all means, tell me if this looks wrong to you on how it sits on my face. Looks and fits me just fine. That "blind spot is there" but hardly noticeable. If i wear it any lower (right above the eyebrow, it does not rest on my nose anymore and causes major fitment issues, yet the "blind spot" is still apparent.

Either way, it seems comparing to other pictures of people playing, I am not too far off. (Notice the area above the eyebrow.)

As big scott mentioned, he didnt even notice until we mentioned something. It won't affect game play. It is just how the event's lense system is designed. I don't hear people complaining about it on the events. If this blind spot was an issue, Simon would have addressed it.

My flex for comparison:

It just sits up higher than other lense systems when sitting in the frame.

On the e-vents, it looks like the plastic/padding behind the lens goes higher up than it does on the e-flex, that's why people didn't notice it. I put on my e-vents and moved my finger around and there was no blind spot until my finger was right in front of my face (blocked by the nose cone)

And if you compare the open part of the lens (between the black thermal line that goes around it) to other masks, it's probably a larger view than other lenses anyways. Although it does look kind of ugly having that space there (still going to be the best mask though)

It it's like Flex thermal lenses and the blind spot is really bothering you, pull the internal plastic off and use it as a regular single pane lens. I never have problems with lenses fogging up whether they're thermal or not so that's what I would do.

I have done that with an e-vents lens (cleaned it out under the sink/got water in the panes ), and it does fog up and the black strip doesn't come off. You could just get a single pane lens, but playing in florida humidity and the lackluster breathability of the e-vents made that fog up also. You won't notice the black strip as much with a smoke lens though.

I've been wearing events for over 2 years now, and never noticed any blind spots. Got no blind spots on my eflexes either. The only thing I've noticed differs is that the eflex has wider and thicker foam. Doesn't cause any blind spots, its just noticable that you can see a bit more of the foam than you can in events. The trade off is that the eflex is much more comfortable. There is nothing there that would affect you playing ability... Unless someone is hiding beneath you...

If it bothers you that much, just cut the foam out and replace it with one of the event foam replacement kits.

Coming from the Proflex with smoke lens, is the vents Ninja lens worth buying for the Eflex or too dark?

The nose bridge and lens with the thermal foam is the same as it was on the E-Vents. It was designed with a larger nose area originally to stop it pinching and help everyone breathe as freely as possible.

It does close off a little of your vision if you are trying to see your finger touch your nose, but when you look out at your opponents and what you are doing I believe you won't notice it. Again ask people that have used the previous line of goggles and that have been using the E-Flex's so far.

The Ninja is really dark. It's great if you are outside on a bright sunny day (actually came up with it because of playing speedball in Texas), but if you are ever going to play in the woods or in lower light conditions I would go with the normal smoke lens.

Interesting that it fixed the problem? Haha. I was looking at getting ninja smoke lense, but now I might just get regular.
