FSDO and a dwell of 22ms
Hey guys, I have a 03 vik with the following;
SCMIII
sidewinder
pandora
Humphrey noid
even with my lpr at 70+ and my dwell at 22 I still get FSDO... not to mention the gun will only fire at a dwell of 20 or higher.
Time to clean the noid? I already did a tear down and clean and rebuild of everything else?

Maybe clean the 'noid.. Maybe try another 'noid.. Maybe reset the board, be sure the battery is good and that all air passages are clean and free of debris.

gonna buy paint and air tomorrow and do further trouble shooting before I install the new noid

Pandora board, as listed at the top. It's the stock firmware, I do not have a v-link cable

If you have access to another board, I'd try that before going the solenoid route. I'd also run some oil through the marker. In other ram-poppet markers, FSDO is usually more of a function of an o-ring in the valve/poppet area needing replaced/lubed than the noid.

The 03s tend to have sticky hammers over time. When you slide the bolt pin forward and back is it smooth or not?

If it is that smooth and not leaking. Could be the noid.

yeah, that was my guess too!weather is bad for the weekend but I'll test once my new noid comes and let you all know if it is a bad noid. :-) thanks for the suggestions! also I realized that I screwed my macro fitting in the sidewinder too tight.
Thanks for the help!
p.s. Most of the problems with AKA markers are because of the end user... me of course! lol
