Hey nation,
My friend will soon be a new g6r owner!!
And he wants to know are there any tips for maintenance, tuning, cleaning etc.
Like what lube/grease and on which part to use it on.
Any necessary upgrades or accessories?
Board setting and all that....
Just a few tips to make sure the g6r is always working and shooting to perfection!!!

Download the manual off of boblongdirect.com
Read it through a few times.
Use Dow55 and Triflow only
Get a pressure tester and some good Ashcroft gauges. This is the only addition the g6r needs.
Make sure you use a LOW PRESSURE tank.
Leave the board settings stock.
MOW FACES!!!
That is all.

Hey, thanks for the tips!!! Where does one get an Ashcroft gauge for the pressure tester?
He has an SLP, so good there
Where do you get tri flow? Is it an oil?
Where does he use tri flow as opposed to dow 55?

If you or your "friend" read the manual, it would tell you where to use dow and where to use trilfow..

Triflow can bought online(Crankwalk, Orignmonkey, Ebay) or from a local bike cycle shop.

Need 1/8 NPT threading

I suggest going to www.mcmaster.com

You need the 0-100 and 0-300 gauges.

Hey I have no interest in the g6r, I love my Etek to much! But anyways he doesn't have the gun yet, so he was just looking for some tips about all things to make the g6r shoot amazing and always work

You need to purchase the tester separately. Many of the stock gauges are too small to give a precise reading. So if you use the tester with those gauges and the marker performs is a suspect manner you should replace them before tuning the marker further.

Hey guys, he ended up getting a 2k12 g6r, ordered the pressure tester from bob long.... But there is a small hole in the grip frame on the left side, what is it for? It's like a little plastic hole/window...

If its in the grip then it is just for the LED light that is on the 2k11 g6r.

Haha okay. So they just didn't change the grips?

No. For one of two reasons(maybe both). They had a surplus of 2k11 grips, or it's just easier to have as many sharing parts between the two.
