Wait... Jeff Dunham is still a thing? I just assumed he was done when it became passe to use him as punchline by respectable comics that I actually pay attention to.
The world becomes a very different place when you don't have cable and consume all of your television through the internet.

But seriously, when are the Networks and Studios gonna start putting people in the boardrooms that realize that you can't just cut the soul out of a series and everyone's gonna be fine with it. Sony just signed Community's death warrant.

Backroom corporate politics usually ruins great things, especially when tv networks are involved. I can't say with much certainty, but something tells me I'd rather it be cancelled. I'll hold out hope that they don't ruin it for season 4, but I'm not nearly as excited for it as I was seasons 2 and 3.

Part of the charm of Community was you got the feeling that everyone involved KNEW they were about to get canceled at any moment so they just did whatever the hell they wanted until the inevitable happened. Which is why I thought they just wouldn't get renewed. Never thought they would just cut out the creator. Personally, I think I would rather see the show just die. Season 3 finale was a good point to end it, and we can go on remembering the show as always being great, like a good British show that does two or three seasons and that's it.

That's how the last season of Arrested Development played. I haven't gotten that vibe from Community.

and **** Arrested Development. That show launched Michael Cera's career. I'll never forgive fox for unleashing him on to all of us.

Community is smart, funny and creative. Apparently Harmon is a bit of a control freak. And obviously his spat with Chevy( rumored to also be not easy to work with) didnt win him any points.
This season was odd, it had some very dark, rough spots and at times, I forgot what the show was all about. But in the end it stayed true to itself and I dont think the show robs viewers of anything or take its fans for granted. I usually find myself laughing fairly constant throughout an episode. The Big Bang Theory and HIMYM, are both laugh track based and a lot of the comedy feels forced down my throat.
Characters are established, relationships fairly locked down. I wouldnt mind seeing a little more down to Earth Community for season 4. At times the show gets so ridiculous... and then it brings back for some serious character development and heart.
Id like to see the series end at a good point. Not let the last season or few episodes be anything other than fantastic.
