Got a chance to speak with Chris in length, great guy and very passionate about his marker and the sport. He has allot in the works for Zodiac and the Renegade marker line.
I can honestly say that it was great to be able to speak with him, and learn some of the History of Zodiac and his vision for the company. For those that have expressed concern to me (via pm's) on the longevity of Zodiac, squash those fears! Chris isn't going anywhere, he is building an incredible support group and still engineering new things, as well as new things for the ZR-1 On/Off and etc.
From an admiration stand point on the ZR-1, if you really stop pull the drive train and break down the bolt system completely with LPR, remove the grip frame and take a look at what he's done with it, it's pretty remarkable.
The bolt system is so easy to Tech, and I learned ways to check O-Rings sealing, by using the LPR.
For anyone new that's lurking, if you liked the soft shot of the Quest - I promise you, you will love the ZR-1.

Its been awhile since I posted there last, but that will change.

If thats for me, I appreciate the thought but it's all good. Pray for something more worthwhile I'm way past the point where I was pretty much immobilized and now am decently functional. I get up and down stairs like an 80 yr old woman right now and walk with a hobble, but I'm getting there

So what guns have you used before the ZR1 and where do you feel the gun is at in terms of performance vs your other/previous guns?

To me the ZR1 is every bit as smooth as a Luxe or Demon and is a much smoother shooter than a Geo. Feels totally different in the hands than the ones I listed but the shot quality is pure money.

I would say that the shot quality is on par with the Demon that I have, and has similiar ergonomics as my Victory. It still has some breaking in to do but I would say that it is on par with the other high end, well known markers on the market.

It's on par with a luxe and clone gt... Feels better in the hands then most certainly better then a victory or geo on par with the nt during play, maybe better? ( the clone gt is a comfortable marker to me... )

Nice! The ZR-1 is very under rated! It's high quality at a great price!
Enjoy that fine piece of equipment there!
