2010 Indy

Hey guys. I just sold one of my two creeds and bought an Indy (2010). Previously I have only shot the interceptor and I am pretty psyched to get the new one in. Any recommendations with the Indy?

Im hoping the Indy is as nice as it sounds and I may have to put down my creed for a little while

There isnt much you have to do to an Indy. Get it tuned by following the guide in the '09 Indy manual located on the Alien website and then leave it alone except for once-a-season maintenance.

You'll be very happy with your purchase.

I use a HH through sponsorship so I can't comment on the Alien barrel. I have always heard good things through those who use them here though.

However, Ive always heard the ASA gripe even before my team had a single Alien and quite frankly it confuses the hell out of me now lol. Not a single person on my team has had a single problem with theirs and I see no reason why anyone would replace it.

But to each his own, it just confuses me.

I always thought the barrels were pretty good, although that was back like 6 years ago when I owned my last interceptor.

The gun is coming with a POPS asa, so that shouldnt be a problem

POPs asa works good too. I think some alien barrels are better than others but on the newer guns all the ones I have shot work great with good paint to bore match.

If the barrel has a nice polish and isn't bent it'll work fine lol. The longer control bore is nice though.

As for the ASA problems I have no idea either. Mine worked fine. I guess with some brands of tanks you may need to adjust the pin depressor setting. That's the point of it being adjustable though lol.
