ok, we have settled on one thread finally.
now I can make my ***** post and go to bed...
I think I'm spending this weekend and my staycation getting my resume ready and sending them out. I'm done. I've had enough. I don't feel as if I can succeed at First Data anymore. My greatest downfall is that I care too much and I try too hard. I'm currently faced with a former manager (who still thinks he is a manager), a person who refuses to commuincate with me, and a coworker who is trying but has such a full plate he has no time for anything. I'm doing the job of four people by myself and simply put, my best just isn't quite good enough.
Given a number of factors surrounding the disaster that has been the last three months, I will discuss this with my supervisor next Saturday and give him a heads up that I am at least looking around. He is a very good people manager, so I believe that it is fair to him to give him the advanced warning. Plus, outside of me, Star knowledge is very thin on our shift, so it will provide time to hopefully have me train someone more. Unlike the last departure, I don't want to leave Star in bad shape knowledge-wise, I just want to leave.
That being said, I'm going to bed. Talk to you all this afternoon.
