For me #2 would be the only keeper from the set, maybe 5 with some different tones. A lot of the poses and facial expressions seem awkward, the B&W is very unflattering IMO.

yah, that set of the girl is weird. In number 5 she looks absolutely horrible. in 1&2 you made her look semi-hot. But the rest are meh. last one is ok.
Do you know why those ones look decent compared to the rest? You elongated her body, gave her some form. The other ones she's slumpy and makes her look unattractive.
I'm not sure what lens you are using but it looks "muddy" I get that either when I'm shooting HIGH ISO or with a crappy lens. Looks like you are shooting a Sigma 30 1.4 so I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe it's your post.
Posing + processing = weird set. 1-2 are decent but there's just something about them that I don't like.

Also, I would bring the exposure down on the creek a bit, the reflection is too bright versus the sky and looks a bit un-natural.
Just curious, did you use an HDR program or manually blend your exposures?

I manually stitched the exposures together. I was concerned with the dynamic range of the sky to the ground, not so much preserving shadow detail of the whole image

Yeah, an' I said: "I do," but I didn't have a clue,
How I'd miss all the whiskey an' women.
I tried to be true, but it's all I can do,

You can find gators all up and down the eastern coast at times. I know a guy who pulled one off the coast at Myrtle Beach. They seem to pop up when you least expect

Should clarify -- the gators that we caught were down around Mattamuskeet (spelling?) and that area. Last year we documented a couple of 4 footers on Roanoke Island (supposed northernmost reach of the species).
No gators on Nags Head -- however, everything else? Yessir. And yeah everything that we've caught has been in Nags Head Woods -- so, sound side.
I'm actually living on the edge of Nags Head Woods Nature Preserve (working in concert / for The Nature Conservancy)
Great place down here. Free housing in OBX for the summer? Yeah I can deal with that.
p.s. that pistol would probably just tickle
EDIT
Some more finds...
Spotted Turtle -- first one documented here in 10 years
5 - line Race Runner that we caught
Squirrel Tree Frog
Bit of the sound -- down the Roanoke trail in Nags Head Woods

I really like the last one. I've been meaning to head that way for a long time now, just never have.
