Hybryd just updated to m2 is a pretty cool aokp based rom to play with. Also the linaro kernel gave terrible battery life.

Guys, i'm a little dumbfounded right now and im not sure what to do.
My girlfriends gnex was sitting in clockwork recovery when she picked it up and looked at it. tried to reboot and it goes to google screen and right back into recovery. I tried to just reflash a rom to get back into it but it cant find any files when i go to instal a zip. It's like not sensing the memory of the phone or something.
I'm trying not to need to factory reset if possible but it's seeming like i'm going to have to. It won't find any of the previous backups either.
It just randomly did this. Its been running aokp b38 with no problems for a few weeks now and its just randomly doing this.
Help please.

So do I want the Sammy 2100 battery or the qcell 3850? Alpha did you notice a bug increase with the 2100? also m2 for hybryd is crazy fast.

You want the 3850. The 2100 just gives you another hour..2 if youre lucky. 3850 gives you another 12 or 14 and its not TOO big

At one point with M5 and Franco's kernel I was getting 15+ hours if battery life. Now I'm.getting 10, 12 if I'm lucky. Is battery life better on the newer aokp builds or us Franco's kernel just trending towards overclocks instead of battery life?

Are you sure you didn't accidentally use the "reboot recovery" option under advanced instead of the reboot option at the top level (I've done that before)?
As far as not seeing any files when trying the install zip for SD card option, did you mess with any of the mount options first by accident?
Also, I have heard there have been issues where people have found a /sdcard folder inside of /sdcard due to something getting messed up in the mount point ( so you see /sdcard/sdcard) and everything has been erased when they removed this extra folder. I'm hoping that is not the case here.

gonna get my GF a GSII Skyrocket for her graduation present. phone is $10 and im gonna pay her extra $30/mo for data for the first 3, maybe 4 months for her the only reason she didnt buy herself one was because she didnt want to have a bill while away at school when she isnt working, but after the first 3 months she'll be making bank during the holidays so she should be set
she thought i was gonna buy her a Polaroid tablet we sell at Kohl's lol it does run 4.0 though
edit- GF's sister dropped her 10 day old Vivid, broke the screen..it was a ****ing $200 deductible with insurance, wtf i thought $90 was rough
