I was wondering if it would be safe to refill butane lighters using propane. I found out that the green gas propane tank adapters are compatible with lighters, and i was wondering if anyone else happened to discover this. I have filled a couple lighters and i've been using them for months.... but this over 5X the pressure, how dangerous is this?

You should be fine a few guys I know did this for years and they never had any problems . They did it to being in very rural areas
